DJ Toolzz — Booking & Portfolio Website

Overview

DJ Toolzz is a Lagos-based professional DJ brand delivering high-energy experiences for weddings, owambe parties, corporate events, concerts and private parties. theHoracle Studio built a modern booking and portfolio website to present the brand at a premium level and make it easy for event planners and hosts to book.

The challenge

For a DJ, every gig depends on trust: will this person read my crowd, show up on time and make the night memorable? Before the website, booking requests were spread across social media and messages, and there was no single place that showed past performances, explained services and prices, and captured enquiries properly. DJ Toolzz needed a digital presence that would:

• Centralise booking requests
• Showcase past performances and the energy of a live set
• Explain services and starting prices clearly
• Build trust with social proof from real clients
• Rank in search for local DJ and event-related searches

What we built

A homepage that sells the experience

A bold hero with clear "Book Now" calls to action and a showreel, so visitors feel the energy of a DJ Toolzz set within seconds.

Services with transparent starting prices

Dedicated service sections for wedding events, corporate events, concerts and festivals, club and house parties, lighting and sound production, and custom DJ sets — each with a short description and a starting price, so planners can qualify themselves before getting in touch.

Events gallery and video

A gallery of venues, crowds and performances, plus video content, to show real events rather than stock imagery.

Testimonials

Client testimonials from real events give new visitors confidence in booking.

About and booking

An about section telling the DJ's story, and booking and contact flows that turn interest into enquiries.

Built for mobile and search

Most event planners browse on their phones, so the site is designed mobile-first, optimised for performance and set up with SEO foundations for local discovery.

Tech stack and process

The interface was designed in Figma and built with Next.js. The project ran from early to late July 2025 — about three weeks from start to launch.

Our role

theHoracle Studio handled development of the website, translating the Figma designs into a fast, responsive Next.js site and connecting the content, gallery, video and booking flows.

Result

The website is live at djtoolzz.com and gives DJ Toolzz a single, professional place to showcase performances, explain services and capture bookings.
